Share your Namecheap domain with us
Namecheap's Share Access lets us manage the settings you choose on one domain, from our own Namecheap account. You keep ownership and can remove us at any time.
Before you start
- You need to be the owner of the domain, and it must not have expired.
- Have your Namecheap password to hand. Namecheap asks for it to confirm.
Open Sharing & Transfer
Sign in to Namecheap and open Domain List. Select Manage next to your domain, then open the Sharing & Transfer tab.
Add us as a manager
In the Share Access section, type
joe@fresh-web.co.ukinto the New Manager box and select Add.Choose what we can change
Namecheap shows a list of settings to tick. Tick the one for DNS (host records). We don't need anything else.
Enter your account password to confirm.
Let us know
The invitation link lasts seven days. Send us a message to say it's on its way and we'll accept it.
Check it worked
Once we've accepted, we appear under Share Access. To remove us later, open the Edit menu next to our name and choose Remove.
