Add your website to your Google Business Profile
Your Business Profile is the panel that shows up when people search for your business on Google or find it on Maps. The website button on it is often the first link a customer taps.
Before you start
- Your website address, written out in full with
https://at the start. The easiest way to get it right is to open your site and copy it from the address bar. - You need to be an owner or manager of the profile, and some businesses need to be verified before they can edit it.
Open your profile
Sign in to the Google account that manages your business, then search Google for your business name. Your profile appears with the tools to manage it.
On your phone you can use the Google Maps app instead: tap Business at the bottom right.
Edit the Website field
Select Edit profile and find the Website field. Paste in your full website address, including
https://.Select Save.
Add a booking link (optional)
If customers can book with you online, you can also add that link. In Edit profile, open Booking, select Add link, paste the address and select Save.
Booking links are only available for some types of business, and only once your profile is verified.
Check it worked
Google reviews most edits within 10 minutes, but it can take up to 30 days. While it is being checked, the change shows as pending. If it shows as not approved, check the address is typed exactly right and try again.
